Horsemanship Skills Camp
Katherine Barbarite of Whispering Hooves, LLC is dedicating her Ranch and time in providing a challenging experience to promote safety and Gentle Horsemanship Skills for the young equestrians with fun being the key element. Strengthening these fundamental principles will allow all riders to gain greater advancement in their riding skills, horsemanship Skills, structure and safety skills.
A Horse of Their Own... Each student is assigned a "horse of her own" to care for during their session. Katherine Barbarite of Whispering Hooves Ranch believes in "hands on" Gentle safe training. Each student will learn to safely partner up with a horse, groom a horse, tack up her own horse, ride with a balance seat and care for their daily needs. This experience develops character and responsibility that they will use throughout their life.
Horsemanship CAMP Sessions
Monday-Thursday- 9:30am-11:30am AM
Monday- Thursday- 1:00pm-3:00pm PM
Open to Any Interested Individual Ages 8 and up
A complete session is considered AM or PM.
Whispering Hooves Ranch is pleased to offer its Horsemanship Camp for young horse enthusiasts. This interactive, hands-on program is designed to teach students the knowledge and skills necessary to build a solid foundation to become horsemen and horsewoman in a supportive and encouraging safe environment.
Program Details:
Horse Sense and Behavior, Horse Care and Handling, Grooming & Proper Saddling
Understanding Correct Riding Positions for Any Disciplines
At the conclusion of the week of camp, students will receive a certificate of completion.
Requirements:
Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required for all students. Helmets are also required.
